What kind of game is it?

The official description calls Pax Autocratica a darkly satirical colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid. At the colony level, you shape a state through citizen assignments, production, research, policies, loyalty, fear, and social pressure.

Expeditions move into first-person combat. The official listing describes infantry, vehicles, mechs, enemy capture, squads, and collectible Cores that alter weapons or support troops during a run.
